LIVING a SUSTAINABLE Lifestyle with your ANIMAL Friends

If the intention is to live a truly sustainable lifestyle, one that is good for us as well as our animal friends then we need to be 110% against factory farming in every sense of the word. Factory farming not only contributes to the suffering of Billions of beings, but also contributes to some of the worst pollution and unsustainable practices on Earth!

We here at OFF GRID HAWAII believe there is a place for our Animal friends to live in harmony with shouldn't be a world of slavery an suffering for all these beautiful and intelligent beings.

Now...We are well aware that many raise animals for meat and we are not telling you that you shouldn't or can't...What we are telling you is if you choose to do that respect them and love them during the time they are on this earth. If you choose to use them for either what God intended, or use them for food, that's your choice.

What is important in this discussion is to honor and respect all beings during their lives because we know if you treat them well, they will treat you well, if you show them love, they will show you love. Animals are an essential part of our lives, but their purpose is and can be so much more than just a use of food...

There's a huge difference between FACTORY FARMING and PRIVATE ORGANIC FREE RANGE FARMING. If you DO choose to raise your animals as food this is the ONLY TRUE WAY to have a sustainable food source...but this way is a one that not only respects the Animal during it's life cycle, but also the environment as well as us ourselves.

Times are changing throughout the world when it comes to livestock. Because there is such HIGH DEMAND for animal products it's become more of a CORPORATE MACHINE where we've taken our HUMANITY out of it, as well as our love and kindness to treat all beings with dignity.

The animals we raise, may it be as friends or food, should be given the same love and respect for their purpose in life as we do in our own lives. In factory farming it isn't possible to treat the animals with respect and dignity because you are not allowing them to be animals. Instead they become objects. This is inexcusable and disheartening for us as humans to allow this to happen.  If we as a species intend to live a sustainable lifestyle and live off grid, we need to stop factory farming and bring back homesteading on a personal and organic level...Bring sustainable farming back to US as individuals!

Why Organic, Sustainable Farming Matters:

Why the END to Factory Farming Matters:

If we can greatly reduce our need for meat, factory farms would cease to exist. For this to happen we must buy ORGANIC, buy LOCAL...Stop the Pain, stop the Suffering, stop the madness...Support Sustainable Farming.

Our farm friends can be loved and respected when you raise them on your property in an off grid manner. Whether you raise them as helpful companions or as livestock on your homestead, treat these beings with love and respect. Allow them to pursue their purpose until you decide for them to become your family’s food. This can only benefit the farmer raising them.

Making the choice to raise animals on your homestead or property is going to give you the ability to become that much closer to nature. You can get your entire family involved in learning responsibility, as well as how nature and wildlife works. Both can work together and be happy while they’re alive on this Earth.

Always REMEMBER the true PURPOSE of some of our best known Farm Animals:

CHICKENS,  the multipurpose animals that can produce eggs and meat, clean you lawn and garden of bugs and insects harmful to your garden. GOATS are the great natural LAWNMOWER when it comes to grass trimming and bush clearing. They are also going to provide amazing milk, cheese, butter and yogurt. PIGS are the natural SCAVENGERS and TILLERS of the Earth...and yes they can also be used as food is you choose to do so.

Having a functioning farm or homestead is going to be an amazing life experience for you and your family. Once you are living off the land with your own energy, fruits, vegetables, and meat, you'll come to realize the amazing connection you have been missing with the Earth.
