I don't think anyone can be surprised over the years at the height of Hawaii's incompetence when it comes to the States challenges of trying to keep Hawaii paradise. If we wish to continue to call Hawaii that we have some serious work to do and going off Grid is a huge part of it. Keeping Hawaii the beautiful paradise that we all know and love won't be easy, but the alternative is frightening!
ONE PARTY RULE is NEVER good for a State or its People!
We have been down this road before...We know what the problem is. If the State of HAWAII was run by either party for a extensive period of time it wouldn't be good for anyone. Once ONE PARTY RULE takes over a States COMPLACENCY takes over and the BENCH MARKS of that party takes over the State and it's policies, law making and economy. Once that happens...well...shit happens!
To us BOTH Major Parties have good ideas, but no one party has the solution to anything and if you think your party has all the solutions...You are a huge part of the PROBLEM!
You would think the MAJOR two party systems would sit down like adults and say...your idea is better here and our idea is better here, but no...that would make too much sense and then we would all have to get along and actually be helping people and business...
We know HAVING BALANCE is ESSENTIAL in this POLITICAL MELTING POT we call HAWAII, but no one actually puts the people over party and that's the unfortunate reality we face with Politics. We find it disturbing that you can't be PRO ENVIRONMENT and PRO BUSINESS in one sentence. We believe you can and if we could get BOTH PARTIES to agree on that Going Off Grid and allowing the Eco system to flourish along with business would benefit everyone in the long run...it makes sense, but politics don't seem to!
SO WHY is HAWAII such a BLUE STATE and what has been the HUGE DOWNFALLS to the LIBERAL AGENDA and ONE PARTY RULE of the Democrats?
- The Melting Pot of Hawaii is an amazing one and we consider it a great asset, but with diversity race and culture does play a HUGE part of that. Where there is minorities there are democrats.
- Hawaii is the most diverse in the country. Only a little over 20% are White here in Hawaii while Asians make up the Majority of Hawaii's population. Unfortunately with more diversity brings higher levels of people on welfare.
- Because of the exploding State budget for state workers UNIONS play a big role in Hawaii and lean to the left.
- The other interesting fact that is often over looked when it comes to HAWAII and what OFF GRID LIVING is actually all about...EVERY MAN FOR THEMSELVES...CONTROL YOUR OWN DESTINY, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND FAMILY. These are all more Conservative and Republican thinking where as in Hawaii people tend to want to help each other and give of themselves to help others, even though that may not help you personally. Yes, this is admirable, but it can create a huge amount of debt for those who work to give to those who don't. On top of that HAWAII and it's people have NEVER felt like they were a part of the United States...it still doesn't, so they don't really understand the fundamentals of a lot of the mainland thinking and they probably never will. Because Hawaii is mostly Asian, which is more of a liberal society, they have brought that culture to Hawaii. Asians tend to keep to their own and vote for Asians and because so many politicians are Asian, most are liberal in their thinking and all vote along those lines.
Lastly, the most disturbing of all the reasons why HAWAII is a BLUE STATE...
FORGIVENESS and REWARD!
Why the PEOPLE of Hawaii keep FORGIVING and REWARDING incompetence is beyond our comprehension and it's disturbing to say the least because mistakes continue to happen at a pretty good pace. In Hawaii there are no "CHECKS & BALANCES"...when you don't have that...shit can hit the fan!
Lets just say working for the State is a pretty KUSH JOB...Once you get in you get some good stuff coming your way...just show up and you're good to go! From retirement, union protection, ability to move up if you want more responsibility and if you don't you can stay where you are so you don't have to work too hard...CHILLAX BRAH! So, what if you screw up? NO WORRIES CUZ...nothing happens and if something does it's a slap on the wrist and maybe a department change. HOW IS THAT HOLDING PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE???
With the current system in place no one is Responsible or held Accountable for things they are Responsible and Accountable for...YOU SEE? WTF!

I'm sure if you didn't know this was a DEMOCRATICALLY RUN STATE you would say many of those problems could be REPUBLICAN PROBLEMS, right? NOPE...this is ALL on the LIBERALS! This is what happens when one PARTY goes UNCHECKED may it be Conservative or Liberal! NO ACCOUNTABILITY and a PEOPLE who vote and REWARD INCOMPETENCE!
Now that we have faced the HARSH REALITY of a ONE PARTY SYSTEM lets get back to OFF GRID LIVING...As for OFF GRID LIVING in relation to Politics...Off Grid is based on being SELF RELIANT and not relying on others. Many people love this and want to take responsibility for themselves, but many in Hawaii DON'T and want to be taken care of by their Government. This is just a FUNDAMENTAL difference and you need to choose what's best for you, but if you GO OFF GRID you are confronted with some reality checks...
One of the main reasons we even made this blog post is because we want people ACKNOWLEDGE that AGENDAS do make a pathway to certain futures and we want to ensure you DON'T lose your ability to GO OFF GRID...Some States on the mainland have been slowly, but surely putting in LAWS that take your FREEDOM AWAY to living a SELF SUSTAINING LIFESTYLE Off Grid! Some States won't even ALLOW you to be off the power grid, ensuring your reliance on the social structured system in place. Keeping you on the system one way or the other keeps you from being completely independent. Once you get a feel for independence it will give you a TASTE in that mouth that the Democrats DON'T want you have, because once you do, you don't need them anymore!
The Democrats want you to LIVE GREEN and protect the Environment, but they don't actually want you to take responsibility and do it on your own and live off grid... Where would their TAX MONEY come from? As a BENCHMARK for Liberals it's to raise taxes to pay for social programs. As for the Republicans they want you to take responsibility for yourself, mind your own business, but they don't actually want you to LIVE GREEN and take care of the Environment that will be sustaining you Off Grid.
How the HELL does that MAKE SENSE for EITHER party?
We need to be VERY CAREFUL of who we put in office and what party we put in charge of our lives. Just be aware of how the SYSTEM is set up and how it is there to either allow you to succeed or fail. WE HAVE NO ISSUES when it comes to BOTH Parties coming together and coming to an agreement to make our country and our lives better. It's when one side or the other pushes their far right or left agenda down our throats! What is WORSE is when the EXTREME FAR ALT-LEFT or ALT-RIGHT push their AGENDA on their own parties that don't want it. If you don't like one party...imagine the EXTREME of that party you don't like.
One thing is for sure...There is NO PLACE in our Society for the EXTREME of either PARTY...When it comes to HAWAII the SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST DEMOCRATIC YOUTH of today's Liberal agenda is growing at an ALARMING RATE! It's quickly going MAINSTREAM with kids that don't even know what they are talking about!
When it comes to living in this UTOPIAN SOCIALISTIC WORLD everyone will be doing equal work for equal pay just to make ends meet and live.
"Just don't plan on inspiring anyone, don't plan on working too hard, don't waste your time inventing things for everyone that will reap the benefits far more than you for creating it, don't pursue your dreams or put all those over time hours in...you're just getting the same reward the guy next to you will while those in charge of this UTOPIA get loaded".
If you feel building a business from the ground up with your sweat, money and tears or building a home Off Grid or life off grid means everyone should get a piece of your hard work...perhaps moving to the current country of VENEZUELA will allow you to see these failed policies in front of your own eyes. This type of "fantasy like thinking" isn't possible in a world run by humans with ego's! Corruption always takes over and those at the top running these Socialistic Countries can't help themselves from bathing in the hard work of all those fighting for a futuristic UTOPIA WORLD that will never come!
Just remember this...if you GO OFF GRID and LIVE A GREEN SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE you are taking the BEST of BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES and bringing them together as one. Don't let the current Political Climate JADE YOU from reality...We need BOTH PARTIES and at the middle of those two parties is BALANCE. That's where we all need to be!
